Sleeping Beauty

After a long separation, a young soldier and his sister are reunited under the full moon. This fragmentary fable is enough here to open up a cinematic universe in enchantingly composed vignettes: High-contrast chiaroscuro – an artistic technique that uses strong contrasts between light and shadow to create depth, volume and dramatic moods – frames the enigmatic figures.
